FUJIFILM and Inca Digital launch new Onset with white

FUJIFILM and Inca Digital Printers have launched a new version of the Onset S40i to include 4-colours plus white following the launch of the Onset S40i (CMYK LtcLtm) last year. The new Onset S40i now includes a double white ink capability that is said to result in excellent print speed when printing white onto a wide variety of premium quality graphic substrates. Both Fujifilm and Inca say the new Onset S40i with white is the ideal solution for businesses that produce high-value backlit/frontlit and double-sided day/night POS display graphics where the ability to print high-opacity white as a base, spot colour or top layer quickly and cost effectively is important.

In addition to white, the new version incorporates many other features aimed at streamlining productivity and reducing downtime. These include support for Inca’s variable data Print Run Controller (PRC) software module offering advanced job management software; a 15-zone vacuum table to reduce bed masking requirements, and consequently set-up time, for ultra-thin substrates; and an auto sensor system which accurately monitors the machine condition and informs the operator when automatic cleaning is required. The Onset S40i with white is also compatible with Inca’s flexible automation system which offers customers the choice to operate manually or using semi or three-quarter modes from the same configuration.
