Caldera expands software support for Roland digital cutters

Caldera has announced RIP compatibility with Roland GR2 cutters. For cut-only processes or print-and-cut workflows, the Roland Camm-1 GR2-640 and GR2-540 makes it possible to do advertising, signs, labels or custom apparel with high speed and precision. Developed to match the needs of print professionals in a variety of industries, the GR2 includes features to create a wide range of products. These new drivers expand the company’s portfolio of supported peripherals for digital cutting.

For print shops using several cutting devices from different brands, Caldera’s cut management modules unify print and cut processes to help users save valuable production time. Both modules effectively manage cut contours, cutting marks and positioning marks to enhance cutting accuracy and minimise media waste.
