Summa customers keep creating safety shields for frontline Covid workers

The world over Summa customers are creasing safety shields for those frontline COVID-19 workers. In this, Freestyle Designs has been working 24-hour shifts to produce safety shields and rubber straps. By using a combination of the Double Edge Cutout Knife and the Kiss-Cut tool on their Summa F1612 flatbed cutter, the company was able to produce the shields by the thousands, with ease, but without mess or fumes.

To enable even faster production of the safety shields, Freestyle Designs contacted Summa to arrange an F-Performance upgrade on their F1612 flatbed cutter. A source from the sign making company stated that the usage of the F-Performance mode on the F1612 made a huge difference to their production speed. This way, they were able to increase the number of finished shields by an additional 2500 per day.
