So far 1400 exhibitors sign up for ITMA ASIA + CITME 2023

More than 1400 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions have registered for ITMA ASIA + CITME 2023, which had been rescheduled last year due to the pandemic situation. The textile machinery and printing solution expo will now take place from November 19-23, 2023 at Shanghai. ITMA Asia follows on from the success of ITMA Milan 2023 held in May this year. Over 160,000 sq m of show floors have so far been booked for CITME at six exhibition halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Center, according to show organiser CEMATEX and its Chinese partners, the Sub-Council of the Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex), China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) and China Exhibition Centre Group Corporation (CIEC).

Ernesto Maurer, president of CEMATEX said the reopening of China’s economy is pivotal for the region as the country is a key driver of the expansion. Such positive news has helped textile machinery manufacturers to rebuild their confidence in the China market. In the similar tone Gu Ping, President of the China Textile Machinery Association mentioned that the number of exhibitors at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2023 have increased by 15 percent, as compared to the previous edition of the show. He further mentioned that new exhibitors accounting for 30 percent of the total number of exhibitors this year.
