Roland VersaUV LEF2-300D churns directly on object up to 30 inch wide

Roland DGA’s addition of VersaUV LEF2-300D flatbed UV printer to its direct-to-object printer portfolio has expanded workspace capable of imaging objects as tall as 7.87 inch and up to 30 inch wide. The UV-LED lamps of the system enable direct printing text and full-colour graphics onto plastics, leather, wood, fabrics, and other rigid materials. The LEF2 series employs UV-LED lamps to allow users to add ultra-realistic graphics and simulated embossing to a broad range of items like smart-phone cases, awards, souvenirs, giftware and other accessories, including leather goods and electronic devices.

With the added height, Roland DGA’s addition of VersaUV LEF2-300D is effectively doubled, which expands the potential of printing onto not only thicker materials, but also a wider variety of shapes by accommodating diverse sizes and types of jigs. The system was developed in response to customer feedback regarding the growing demand for making personalized, one-of-a-kind items and high-mix, small-lot runs. The LEF2 series helps promote on-demand printing businesses like creating truly unique accessories or producing customized items on the spot.
