Roland DG to present new IU-1000F flatbed printer at viscom 2020

Roland DG will be presenting latest innovations from its portfolio of digital printing solutions, including the new IU-1000F large-format UV flatbed printer, at viscom 2020 from January 7-9 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Also, the company’s stand will feature the latest models of its TrueVIS series—the new SG2 and VG2 printers/cutters and the new IU-1000F large-format UV flatbed printer.

Roland IU-1000F employs UV-LED flatbed technology to print directly on a variety of materials, including rigid boards up to 2510x1310mm, 110mm in height and 45 kg/sq m in weight. The UV inks cure immediately, enabling the IU-1000F to print on substrates such as acrylic, PETG, PVC board, foam board, PC, wood, corrugated polypropylene board, aluminium composite plate, and even metal and glass by using primer ink. Sales of the printer will start in Europe, North America and Japan in the first quarter of 2020, with other regions to follow shortly after.
