Roland DG Corporation has introduced the ER-642—a new 64 inch eco-solvent printer in its DGXPRESS series of wide-format inkjet printers. With new, larger-size printheads which can eject finer ink droplets at higher density plus newly developed, high-speed data control technology, the ER-642 achieves productivity of 46.8 sqm/h in 900 x 600 dpi mode for PVC printing and 76.1 m2/h in 600 x 1200 dpi mode for banner printing.
The ER-642 comes standard with VersaWorks 6 professional RIP software with a range of features to support output operations, and with Roland DG Connect, a cloud-based service.
