Mactac releases PermaColor anti-graffiti and window protection films

Designed to add durability to graphic images and windows, Mactac has announced the release the PermaColor anti-graffiti and window protection films. The line of films is available in three configurations that are designed to prevent graffiti, scratches, acid-etching gouges, UV light damage, and tagging. Among the films, SAG 36 is a 1.7-mil economy film for graphics on smooth surfaces; the 2-mil SAG 53 intermediate hard-coated film is designed for glass surfaces; and the heavy-duty 6.9-mil SAG 175 is engineered for public transportation applications. The new films are said to resist shattering and extend display life up to 5 or 10 years indoors and two years outdoors. In addition, PermaColor Anti-Graffiti and Window Protection Films are clear with permanent acrylic adhesive and a smooth polyester lining, engineered for easy graffiti removal.
