Caldera releases new drivers for SUMMA

Caldera has launched new drivers for SUMMA S Class 3 cutting plotter. The new CalderaRIP Version 16 driver expands CalderaRIP’s long list of supported peripherals for large-format production. SUMMA S Class 3 is ideal for the sign and display industries. In addition, a creasing option in the system has been added to allow users to tackle more business opportunities. Versatile and scalable, Caldera’s multi-brand solution tackles a variety of print and cut, indoor and outdoor applications while increasing productivity.

CalderaRIP embeds powerful features and technologies for prepress, colour management and finishing, and integrates seamlessly in any wide format print and cut environment. There is no need for a separate solution to manage cutting operations. The CutServer module allows users to streamline cutting operations on roll-to-roll cutters. Users can drive cutting devices from several brands; unify print-to-cut workflow; manage cut contours as well as cut marks and positioning marks; manage multiple contours in a single file; generate machine-specific files for each job; improve cutting accuracy; and reduce media waste.
