Absolute Black VET inks for EPSON Ecotank printers

Absolute Inkjet has announced the introduction of Absolute Black VET inks for clear film printing on EPSON Ecotank printers, which include the 24-inch EPSON Surecolor T3170x. The scratch-resistant black ink is composed of UV absorbing dye engineered to block light for film positive/negative printing in exposure applications such as photo engraving. The inks are manufactured to provide an excellent colour match and guaranteed machine reliability. Supplied in remanufactured original cartridges to help protect the environment and reduce the use of plastic, all the Absolute Black VET inksare freely mixable with the original inks and have the same colour performance so that existing profiles and colour settings can be happily used.

Extensive testing for fade resistance and printer reliability of the Absolute Black VET inks has shown that the inks are equally as archival and reliable as the OEM. Cost savings from using these cartridges are around 50 percent compared to using EPSON OEM cartridges. The cartridges can be returned for credit after use so that they can be refilled and reused – part of the Absolute Inkjet environmental policy. Absolute Black VET inks are available in 140-ml bottles and 1-L bulk bottles.
