High footfalls at 15th PRINTPACK INDIA defy Corona predictions and heat wave
It was not easy to travel in 45oC heat, but the industry had shown the trust on the Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA), which organized the 15th PRINTPACK INDIA Exhibition at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida from May 26-30, 2022. It has been reported that 1,03,412 visitors from 52 countries visited the five-day expo, despite the fact that limited invitations were sent to the overseas market due to covid restrictions and perceptions. It has also been observed that the exhibitors had finalized various business deals worth Rs 2,000 cr during the first four days of the expo.
With their latest machines and other related products, 487 companies participated in the expo. Their profiles included printing, packaging, corrugation, label printing, screen & textile printing, signage & LED, and more. Some of the leading players from the signage segments, such as Colorjet India, Mehta Cad Cam, Arrow Digital and others participated in the expo with new and innovative products and technologies. “In spite of many obstructions in the execution of the project and postponement on two different occasions due to Covid-19 and lockdowns in the country, we have been able to book total area of 60,340 Sqms for this edition which was more than the area sold out during the previous edition,” said Rakesh Sodhi, President, IPAMA.
