Uttarakhand Government and Patanjali to sign MoU for opening 670 outlets

Uttarakhand Government has recently announced that it will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Patanjali to open 670 retail shops across the state. The MoU would not only benefit consumers, but also provide employment opportunities to the locals, an official source mentions, adding that the MoU will likely be inked in the first month of 2019. According to the initial plan, one shop would be constructed in 95 blocks of the state in the first phase. In the second phase, 200 more will be built, and in the final phase remaining shops would be constructed. These shops would be operated by primary agricultural credit societies (PACS). Such development is an added business advantage for the signage companies which engage in in-store projects.
