Kornit Digital announces single-step Kornit Allegro designed for multi-fabrics

Kornit Digital announces Kornit Allegro, a single step, multi-fabric technology, which enables new business models around the production of special collections and custom-made textiles. The machine is displaying at the ongoing Heimtextil 2017 (10 to 13 January 2017 at Frankfurt). For the first time, Kornit will bring an actual Allegro system to the show, in order to demonstrate live end-to-end production of digitally printed home textiles, without any pre-treatment or finishing steps.

Kornit Allegro is perhaps the only true digital solution for textile printing that includes pre-treatment and full finishing within a seven meters production line. Its unique one-step process combined with the impressive color gamut of Kornit’s NeoPigmentTM inks represents a real opportunity for textile designers and enables them to control their prints and colors while offering their customers short runs and customization. With textile production now available in a completely dry single step solution, digital fabric printing is returning to western countries as former challenges, such as end-to-end costs, pollution, regulations, health and safety, and space can be addressed.
