AXYZ International demonstrates triple-head Trident finishing system at FESPA 2018

AXYZ International demonstrates the Trident CNC combined routing and cutting system, which incorporates a triple-head routing/cutting configuration comprising a high-performance routing spindle and combined tangential/oscillating knife-cutting units. Key design features of the advanced Trident include a rigid solid steel frame construction to better accommodate more vigorous machine operation, an exclusive live vacuum deck that provides a maximum material hold-down capability and an integrated helical rack and pinion drive system.

The live vacuum deck of the Trident system incorporates a multiple gear teeth configuration that ensures more even distribution of the workload and radically reduced machine wear and tear that enables greatly enhanced routing/cutting precision and ultimately a longer than normal machine life. Interchangeable 120mm-long blade attachments provide increased cutting efficiency when processing harder, thicker and heavier materials. Trident handles a diverse range of rigid and flexible materials, including aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, aluminium composites (ACM), acrylic and plastic, foamed and corrugated board, vinyl, cardboard and paper.
