Tata Ceramics has unveiled its retail store in Lucknow, first outside Kerala. The company had previously opened retail stores at Kochi and Kottayam in Kerala. It supplies premium tableware and giftware to leading luxury brands and airlines worldwide. According to a source from the company, they are planning to expand their retail footprint to 25 stores through the franchisee route in another two years’ time, including 3-4 more stores in Uttar Pradesh. What the company is aiming at is to open retail stores in major UP towns of Kanpur, Varanasi and Allahabad. Tata Ceramics’ regional expansion move is a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose jobs include in-store branding, displays, designs, etc.
