Spectrum highlights growing trend of using green materials in POS displays at EuroShop 2020

Keeping with the growing world trend of using eco-friendly and sustainable materials in Point of Sale Material, Mumbai-based Spectrum participated in EuroShop 2020 held from February 16 – 20 at Dusseldorf, Germany. EuroShop is the world’s largest trade fair for retail investment requirements with dynamic and future-oriented retail elements being showcased like POP/POS displays, printing & signage, technology & digital marketing solutions and many more related areas. This year’s EuroShop trade fair was a success, which had approximately 2300 exhibiting companies and 94,000 visitors in attendance

This year customers wanted sustainable concepts and Spectrum put its heart and soul by presenting their POP/POS Displays with a sense of responsibility. The Steam Engine showcased at In-Store Asia 2019 had by now become iconic in India, with almost everyone relating it with Spectrum. “We then decided to make a miniature that would be equally imposing and would be the hero at EuroShop 2020. The idea of a sailing boat came the famous poem of John Keats “I leaped headlong into the sea…” We took that risk and so the boat was going to be our Hero No 2 at EuroShop 2020. With an Indian touch, the ambience and flavour at EuroShop 2020, Spectrum has booth walls engraved and backlit with the Indian National Flower and National Bird symbol Peacock on it. Going forward with the sustainability concept they chose the wall colours to be light green and bottle green. The discussion area furniture was given a dynamic yellow, red and black colour which would provide a contrast to the carpet and walls. The Train, Boat, Walls & Business Furniture were all made using corrugated sheets. In fact, Spectrum made India proud at EuroShop 2020!
