Roland DG TrueVIS resin & UV printers scoop BLI 2024 Pick Awards

Roland DG Corporation has announced that two printer/cutters from its market-leading TrueVIS range – AP-640 resin and LG-640 UV model wide-format printer/cutter – have won BLI (Buyers Lab) 2024 Pick Awards, while receiving high marks in evaluation tests conducted by independent testing provider, Keypoint Intelligence. The AP-640 (CMYK) was awarded in the Outstanding Entry-Level CMYK Eco-Solvent/Latex 54”/64” Printer category while the LG-640 (CMYK Re Or Wh Wh) received acclaim in the Outstanding UV 54”/64” Printer category.

The AP-640 resin printer passed our extensive tests with flying colours, demonstrating high performance for colour gamut, colour matching results, image quality, stable wallpaper consistency, productivity, and usability. It accurately reproduces Pantone brand colours, as well as the very stable reproducibility with minimal colour and dimensional differences over a 30m wallpaper printing test. The LG-640 UV printer was evaluated for two ink configurations, Dual-CMYK and CMYK Re Or Wh Wh. The Dual-CMYK model is truly a printer designed to offer the highest levels of productivity, while also providing high quality outputs.
