Roland DG to reveal emerging trends in interior design and textile printing at FuturePrint Virtual Summit 2020

Roland DG has set to participate in FuturePrint Virtual Summit 2020, taking place from October 12 – 16, 2020. The virtual event is free to join and brings together 120 speakers spanning 15 countries to discuss a range of hot topics across diverse verticals which consist of wide-format imaging and commercial printing, packaging and labeling industries. Roland DG’s focus at the event is primarily on exploring emerging trends in interior design and textiles through two virtual panel sessions, as well as showcasing recent innovations from Roland DG designed to support printers that are manufacturing products in both of these categories.

On October 13, Paul Willems, Head of Product Management and Business Development at Roland DG EMEA, will participate in a panel discussion entitled ‘Printed Interior Decor: An Untapped Opportunity’. He will explain the category’s explosive growth, strong margins and comparative resilience to COVID-19, making it an attractive diversification opportunity for printers.
On October 14, in the session titled ‘Fashion and Garment Textile: Is It Time To Bring It Home?’, Joe Wigzell, Academy Manager, Roland DG EMEA, will address the need to pivot from offshore to nearshore and homeshore textile production, and the impact this change will have on the industry, its efficiency, and its long-term future.
