Overseas investors still keen to expand India footprint

Despite the question mark over India’s growth prospects, the country still is an attractive destination for foreign investment, a survey conducted by global consultancy agency EY (formerly Ernest &Young) has concluded. The survey, titled EY India Attractiveness Survey 2014, was conducted among 500 foreign investors. It said that more than half (53.2 per cent) of survey respondents are considering increasing their presence in India, including the retail sector down the next two years. This positive aspect in the retail sector is green signal for the signage players as it can bring in a fresh business opportunity for them to tap fresh business.
