A year after its entry into the Tamil Nadu market, Nippon Paint is looking to strengthen its retail footprint in Tier II and III locations in Tamil Nadu. The company is planning to launch more PRO stores in Chennai and Coimbatore. These exclusive experiential stores will offer painting services rather than selling paints. Nippon has 12 such outlets (including one that opened in Chennai), 10 of which are in and around Chennai and two in Coimbatore. Signage companies with their activities involve in in-store branding and such tasks will get fresh business opportunity with Nippon Paint’s store expansion in Tier II and III towns in Tamil Nadu.
