Newly launched HP Latex FS50 and FS60 Series are a line of 3.2m (126-inch) wide industrial super-wide format printers designed for flexibility and scalability, offering features like automated printhead maintenance, high-speed color printing, and the ability to print on a wide range of applications, including backlit textiles and PVC-free materials, with a focus on sustainability and odor-free prints using water-based HP Latex inks. Scalability is one of the key features of the new printers. The ‘FS’ in the series stands for Flexible and Scalable, allowing for future hardware and software upgrades as business of PSPs grows, including options like Jumbo Dual Roll Kits, Ink Collector Kits, and longer warranty periods for the FS60 series.
When it comes to performance, both the models can deliver high-speed colour printing up to 89sqm/hr and feature symmetrical double printheads for efficient production. The FS50 also offers white print speeds up to 581sqft/hr with 3-liter white ink cartridges. Utilising water-based HP Latex inks, these printers produce odourless prints with no hazardous air pollutants, meeting key environmental certifications and offering a more sustainable solution for signage and décor applications. Media compatibility of the printer is commendable as they support a wide array of media, including films, vinyl, and odourless backlit textiles, and are compatible with PVC-free materials, contributing to a wider colour gamut and new business opportunities for eco-conscious customers.
