Mutoh releases new RIP software for wide-format printers

New RIP software from Mutoh, VerteLith is built around the Harlequin® host renderer, ensuring fast RIP processing times for both PDF and PostScript files, as well as perfect handling of transparencies and spot colours. Users will get the best from their Mutoh wide format printer with VerteLith RIP software, offering advanced 6-channel support. Users will be able to tackle the widest range of print jobs, including multi-layer artwork requiring white and/or varnish layers. Unique features of the new RIP software include its built around Harlequin Core, straightforward and powerful user interface, simple workflow, impressive features list, including finishing toolset.

VerteLith includes professional profiling tools, Mutoh halftone screening for best possible gradients and skin tones. It optimizes features for direct-to-object (DTO) printers, which means jig printing with automatic layout. It can also be hooked up to non-Mutoh RIP solutions and supports multi-language chat. Its job definition includes: size, rotation, mirror, clipping, trimming. Job finishing is of step and repeat, tiling, crop marks, grommets, choke, bleed and print notes.
