InkTec wraps World’s Toughest Row – Atlantic boat

Acclaimed to be the World’s Toughest Row – Atlantic, InkTec has provided the boat branding using their latest UV DTF technology for the Vibe the Wave Team. The three women who are taking on this extreme challenge, will be rowing 3,000 nautical miles from La Gomera to Antigua. The boat will be adorned with sponsor branding produced using UV DTF printing. This ultraviolet technology uses a combination of UV-curable ink and special film to create designs that can be added to a variety of substrates including plastics, metal, board and more.

The InkTec wrapping technology enables designs to be transferred easily onto hard, smooth objects, even onto irregular shapes. In this case the graphics showcase the myriad of sponsors involved in supporting the team in their endeavour either as a Product Sponsor or as a Hatch of the Day graphic which will feature around the entrance into the cramped accommodation. The team will be rowing three hours on and three hours off for between 40-50 days departing from the Canaries mid-December. It is estimated they will complete an average of 1.5 million strokes.
