Initially approved as ISO/TS 16949 by the ISO International Standards Organisation, IATF 16949 specifies requirements for quality management system processes that promote continuous improvement, the prevention of defects and the reduction of non-conformance and scraps in the supply chain. HEXIS has been awarded IATF 16949 certification for its Frontignan site, the Group’s head office. This standard is internationally recognised as a benchmark in the automotive industry. In order to obtain this quality standard at its Frontignan site, HEXIS has adopted a culture of risk assessment and prevention within its organisation, with the implementation of robust processes, rigorous quality controls and efficient management systems.
