First 42 inch Memjet printer in the market

The much-hyped Memjet technology has finally been launched in wide format width by Xanté at Graph Expo with the Excelagraphix 4200, a 42 inch printer. Excelagraphix 4200 uses an array of five overlapping 8.77 inch Memjet Waterfall printheads, each containing 70,400 nozzles, to generate 3 billion drops of ink per second which Xanté claim will deliver speeds up to eight times faster than traditional inkjet technology.
