Epson brings new high to inkjet digital décor

Epson proves its expertise in new level of creative design and production flexibility of its inkjet printers and inks to produce bespoke interior décor products in high quality – quickly, easily and in small quantities. All such excellence and competence will be highlighted at Heimtextil to be held from January 14-17, 2015 at Messe Frankfurt. Epson substantiates digital direct-to-textile, direct-to-cushion cover and wallpaper printing and how its innovative inkjet technology can enable new décor applications on materials such as glass, metal and plastic. All these activities will form a major highlight at the company’s booth during the show.

Even Epson is partnering with Deutsches Mode-Institut (DMI), the German trend forecasting organisation that helps designers to predict seasonal colours for fashion and interior design, to bring the new inkjet competence during the show. Using DMI’s unique DMIx standard for digital sourcing, entire production workflow from contemporary design creation on-screen, proofing on an Epson Stylus Pro 4900, output on a SureColor SC-F7100 dye-sublimation printer and heat transfer to soft furnishing textiles will be the eye catcher. Epson SureColor SC-F7100 can also be used to produce superb quality images with vibrant colours on a variety of hard surfaces, making possible using inkjet technology. Easy-to-use Epson inkjet printers open up new creative opportunities for designers who wish to produce their own products in small quantities and on-demand.
