S D Sharma was conferred with Udyog Rattan Award and excellence award was presented to Ess Dee Nutek Infinities Pvt Ltd for their outstanding contribution in bringing the digital revolution to the signage and photographic industry recently.
In an award ceremony held by Institute of Economic Studies (IES), Udyog Rattan Award was presented to S D Sharma and excellence award was presented to Ess Dee Nutek Infinities Pvt Ltd for their outstanding contribution in bringing the digital revolution to the signage and photographic industry in the seminar organised by Kulbir Singh, executive director of Institute of Economic Studies.
The jury, which decided the awards, comprised of renowned economists, and planners of India. It comprised of M V Rajshekharan, minister of state in the Ministry of Planning; Dr Bhishma Narain Singh, former governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam; Prof J D Agarwal, chairman, Indian Institute of Finance, Delhi; Dr GVG Krishnamurthy, former election commissioner of India and O P Saxena from Supreme Court of India.
Prof J D Agarwal reminded the urgent need for industrialisation of the country and appreciated the work being done by the awardees whereas, Dr Bhishma Narain Singh reminded the need for latest generation of entrepreneurs to be inspired by our country’s rich history and the great leaders it has produced in the past. He told that businessmen and pioneers like the ones being awarded are the leaders of today who will shape the country in the future.
Many industrial pioneers, doctors, exporters, alongwith director of Reliance and owners of Liberty were awarded in the ceremony. Dr Bhishma Narain Singh and M V Rajshekharan handed over the awards.
On receiving the “Udyog Rattan Award” S D Sharma expressed a feeling of happiness and astonishment. He told media, “This award is an encouragement to work harder and improve ourselves.” After thanking the jury, IES and Ministry of Planning for giving such prestigious awards, he dedicated the award to his team. He explained, “These awards appreciate the hard work, dedication, vigor and spirit shown by the Nutek Parivar. Our team of young, dynamic and focused personnel has made this day possible.” He reminded his team that these awards should encourage and motivate them to achieve higher goals. Now
they have more responsibility on their shoulders to do more advantageous work for the country.
