EPSON SureColor dye-sub printers take on umpteen applications

Designed to maximize productivity for print businesses, the versatile 4-color SureColor F6470 and 6-color SureColor F6470H wide-format dye-sublimation printers generate fast output for quickly and efficiently producing high-quality transfer images.

Engineered for wide-format transfer imaging, EPSON has recently expanded the SureColor F-Series of dye-sublimation printers with the addition of the 44-inch SureColor F6470H and SureColor F6470 dye-sub transfer presses. The 4-color SureColor F6470 reaches print speeds of 821 sq ft/hr for applications such as promotional and personalized products, apparel, interior décor, soft signage, and more. The SureColor F6470H offers 6-colour configuration options (CMYKcm, CMYKOG, or CMYK + fluorescent pink + fluorescent yellow) and max print speeds of 400 sq ft/hr for applications including photographic panels, flags, banners, and more.

Replacing the SureColor F6370, the new printers are engineered with features including 1.33-in. PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT) for consistent print quality; integrated ink pack system with 1.6-L UltraChrome DS Ink packs; 4.3-in. touch-screen control panel; accessible maintenance area; integrated cutter for roll-to-sheet applications; media take-up reel system for unattended printing; EPSON Edge Print workflow software with Adobe PDF Print Engine; compatibility with Universal, Rigid Photo Optimized, Adhesive Textile, and Multipurpose EPSON DS Transfer Paper; and EPSON Cloud Solution Port for live production monitoring.
