Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri plans to triple retail space

Jewellery retailer Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) is planning to triple its retail store space in the next three years and aims to tap more cities in a bid to become a strong pan-India player. The company currently has 15 showrooms in nine cities across five states. Maharashtra alone accounts for 40 percent of the company’s revenue. By financial year 2015, the total number of store carpet area will go up to around 150,000 sq ft from current 51,000 sq ft. This financial year, TBZ plans to open 12 outlets and the expansion will be funded via Rs 200 crore. Such mega expansion plan of the company will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-store/in-shop displays and other related activities.
