FirstCry.com is a leading hybrid online-offline baby & kids products retailer in India. Run by Pune-based BrainBees Solutions Pvt Ltd, FirstCry recently netted $15 million in its third institutional funding round led by Vertex Venture Holdings, now this online and offline retailer is coming up with the plan to open 100 physical stores. The company is now operating 70 stores across 58 cities and continues to add four-five stores a month. They are planning to open more stores in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Delhi, among others. By the end of this year, FirstCity.com will have 100 offline stores across the country. Signage players engaging in in-shop projects can tap such opportunity surfacing rapidly in the sector.
