Esko’s CorruSpeed tool cuts corrugated boards without oscillating

Esko has designed its CorruSpeed tool for cutting corrugated board without oscillating. The company reports the process will produce cleaner and more accurate cuts comparable to conventional die cutting. Launched at the recent drupa 2016, CorruSpeed is compatible with the Kongsberg C Series, X Series, XP, and XE cutting tables. It cuts materials up to 7 mm. The tool includes a floating foot with spring-loaded, adjustable pressure in order to crush the liner and prevent it from cracking while the cut is made. It features a side or top pressure gauge.
