Arlon announces new five-yard package for HP 2100 Series

Arlon announces the release of its new economical five-yard roll package for HP LaserJet 2100 Series printers, cast film in 15-inch punched and 24 inch un-punched width. Designed along a new prospect to cope with the current economic slowdown, the package is quite a significant tool for small and medium sign shops starting to shy away from buying 50-yard rolls of coloured cast film especially outside the standard white, red, blue, and black fast movers that most shops use everyday.

According to Arlon’s research, signs and banners are often restricted to those ‘fast mover’ colours or digital printing with a trade-off in creativity or in warranty life. To meet this trend head on, the company is offering these short rolls in 83 colours at the same square feet price as larger rolls.

Talking about cost effectiveness of the products, Ron Hopkins, president, Arlon said, “This package is the right solution for today’s economy.” He added, “It enables sign shops to maintain colour creativity while keeping inventories at a bare minimum. Our distributor channel partners will appreciate it too, and due to the low investment requirement, they will be able to avoid backorders and keep the full range of colours always available for their sign shop customers.”
