Woodland India is now working on a strong franchise store model to grow its presence in smaller cities and towns across the country. The company has plans to expand into adventure sports gear through large format stores and is also looking to expand to newer international markets. The company is testing the move towards franchise stores and already has around 7-8 of them in the pipeline. At present, Woodland India largely sells its products through company-owned, multi-brand and shop-n-shop stores. The company runs over 480 stores across the country. Gradual outlet expansion of Woodland India will being in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-shop branding, designing and related activities.
