Vodafone opens its Global Design Stores at Kumbakonam and Thanjavur

Vodafone has unveiled its Global Design Stores at Kumbakonam and Thanjavur. The company has expanded its store counts across the region in their attempt to penetrate into new geographies as well as to appease the increasing population of educated youth. A source from the company reveals that unveiling of its new format stores will set the trend of increasing smartphone penetration and mobile Internet use, and is meant to be a one-stop-shop experience for Vodafone users. There are over 8,800 Vodafore stores in the country and rapidly expanding. Such boost in the telecom sector, one of the sunshine arenas for signage companies, will bring in a new opportunity for the signage players whose activities involve in in-shop designs, displays and related activities like store branding.
