Vivo to open 100 stores in India this year

Smartphone maker Vivo has announced that it is all set to open nearly 100 exclusive stores across India in 2021. Currently, the company has 550 retail stores across the country and by the end of this year, it aims to cross the 650-mark. Vivo entered the premium smartphone segment last year with the X-series in India that was manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility. Apart from new products, Vivo is focusing on marketing investment and the company is back as title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Vivo’s store expansion and aggressive market investment plan is a new business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in branding and in-store graphic projects.
