Van Heusen plans for 10 exclusive women’s wear outlets, 5 accessory outlets

Van Heusen has planned to open ten exclusive women’s wear outlets and around five accessory outlets this fiscal with an estimated investment of Rs 10 crore. The expansion will be in addition to the planned 50 exclusive Van Heusen stores that the company will open this year, mostly in non-metros. About 70 per cent of these stores will be set up under franchise model. Currently, Van Heusen has 200 exclusive stores and seven women’s wear outlets. The company will open its first accessories only outlet in Cochin next month. This gradual boost in the company’s outlets would bring in a fresh business opportunity which signage players dealing in in-shop displays, designs and others related activities.
