Swiss retailer Richemont plans to set up single brand retail stores in India

Swiss retailer plans to invest about US$ 25 million in India to set up single brand retail stores in the country. The company, which sells luxury products, including brands like Cartier, Piaget, Paneraiand Montblanc, has also sought few clarifications from the government on conditions for selling sub-brands from the same stores. Such a big move of the MNC major into the Indian sector would bring in a new business opportunity for the signage players including those involving in branding, fabrication and others in the retail or in-shop jobs.
