Summa upgrades its cutting software

Summa’s R&D department is constantly optimising  its in-house software modules. The company recommends that users update their software and start to benefit from the following new features of the new software release 1.10, among others. The single sheet print and cut improvements include: New camera profile for back side cutting with edge detection, Sheet detection mode, enabling fast detection of single sheets in one and the same job, Improved mark prediction to find the job’s position more easily and compensate deformations optimally, and Possibility to skip marks in case of repetitive jobs, enabling users to cut more jobs in less time.

Improved fixed size compensation: No shifts between related objects, Optimal choice of segments, Especially suitable for larger jobs. Now users can use in combination with the Heavy-Duty Roll Support, offering added value when cutting heavy banner print rolls and non-stretchable wide textile rolls. Improved workflow with cut-off after job minimizes feed margins so less waste of material.
