Sihl Digital Imaging launches a new matte paper

Sihl Digital Imaging has developed a new matte paper to meet the growing demand for solvent print production. 3157 Pacifica is a bright white, super smooth, high performance matte photo paper. Pacifica features a proprietary barrier coating that seals the base paper, prevents show through and cockle and maximizes print density color gamut and shadow detail at the surface. Sihl Pacifica combines maximum ink loading and extremely fast dry times to produce excellent print quality and color gamut. Pacifica is compatible with all solvent, eco solvent, latex and UV printers.

The unique Sihl Pacifica coating is sufficiently water and scratch-resistant. For added durability or a change of surface finish, Pacifica can be laminated with either pressure sensitive or heat activated films. Roll sizes of the newly unrolled matte papers are: 36”, 54”, 60”x150’ length, 3” core.
