Seiko’s ColorTextiler 64DS inkjet printer

Europe-based Seiko Instruments is to introduce ColorTextiler 64DS, a new 64-inch, 4-colour oil-based dye-sublimation transfer inkjet printer. It can print on media up to 64″ wide (162 cm) with the speed of 10 sqm/hr at 720 dpi x 540 dpi (with 6 passes) by using 4 Seiko piezo printheads, and includes an automated take-up system.
