Rajesh Exports raising huge amount to push retail space

Rajesh Exports, a leading wholesaler and exporter of gold jewellery, is slated to raise around Rs 7,000 crore for retail expansion across India. The company is expected to finance its retail push through a combination of internal accruals, external commercial borrowing (ECB) and domestic debt. The fund-raising will help the company launch 500 Shubh stores across India in the next three years and will bolster its success witnessed in Bangalore where the company has set up 14 such stores over the past six months. An optimism of new business for the signage companies who are engaging in the in-store displays, Rajesh Exports’ retail expansion is an added advantage in the (signage) segment of India.
