National Textile Corporation plans for 300 retail stores

National Textile Corporation (NTC) announces its entry into the ready made garments business where the union textiles minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao unveild the logo ‘Indian Republic’ in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Starting with the menswear range, NTC plans to launch 300 retail stores through franchise network by end of March 2015. The corporation expects to spend about Rs125 crore towards the retail stores and some Rs 20 crore on advertisements during the next two years. This move of the public sector firm will bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve around in-store designs, displays and models.
