MCD augments tenders for outdoor advertisements

Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is looking to augment its revenue through outdoor advertisements, including boards put up on uni-poles. The revenue from outdoor advertisement in the current fiscal is expected to exceed the target of Rs 60 crore while the same for the next fiscal is proposed at Rs 66 crore. One of the major ways of fully exploiting the revenue generation potential is through advertisements on uni-poles located in different zones including Sadar Pahar Ganj, City and Rohini zones. Such new move of the civic body is an opportunity for the signage companies in the national capital region.
