Max Group is a well known and reputed company, catering to the printing, graphic and signage industries for the last 15 years. The directors – Hitesh, Nimesh, Vasant and Kirti – of the company are well acquainted with most of the requirements of pre-press houses, commercial printers, newspapers, commercial digital presses and advertising agencies.
The company was initially started by Navin Jobalia as a trading house – ‘Max Traders’ – for teleprinter rolls and tapes in 1968. His brother Rajnikant Jobalia joined the business after the untimely death of Navin in 1972. Soon, Rajnikant succeeded in gaining dealership in the trading and importing of graphic art film and phototypesetting paper from Agfa. In the year 1982, Hitesh (son of Rajnikant) joined the family business. Coming from the printing technology background, Hitesh soon set a brilliant example of expertise and energy. Under his guidance and support, the turnover of the company soared to Rs 100 crore.
Today, the company imports, distributes and trades digital media, pre-press and printing consumables under the Max brand. Some of the well-known products from this trading house include Max inkjet media (economy and premium), Max frontlit flex (300 gsm, 320 gsm, 340 gsm, 410 gsm and 440 gsm), Max backlit flex (180-610 gsm), Max SA vinyl (glossy and matt), Max lamination film (glossy, dull and satin), Max one-way vision, Max mesh (with linear), Max Sunboard sheets (1– 20 mm), Oracal premium vinyl (Germany), Starflex (Korea), Silver frontlit flex, Silver premium flex, Sterling frontlit flex, Sterling Super frontlit flex, Star Backlit flex, Sterling backlit flex, etc. These media find applications in diverse areas like signs, displays, POPs, exhibition boards, wall cladding, etc.
Seeing the increasing demand, the company also started offering display stands, banner stands, roll-up and pull-up banners. Besides, they also deal in Max Spectra solvent ink and Blackjet Diamond Xaar inks, Blackjet Diamond Spectra inks, Max PS plates, Max CtP plates, Max PS and graphic chemicals, Max Masters polyester film, Agfa graphic art films for imagesetters, HP water-based inks for HP inkjet printers, etc. They are also the distributors for HP Designjet 5500/5000 series inkjet cartridges and dye ink.
