Malabar Gold sets plan to open 40 new stores by 2022

Kochi-based Malabar Gold & Diamonds, which is one of the largest gold and diamond retailers in India and beyond, is on an expansion spree with investment of Rs 1,600 cr by next fiscal FY 22 to add 56 more stores. The gold retailer announced that out of the 56 new stores, 40 will be in India and the rest 16 in overseas. The company expects to generate 1,750 new jobs with this next year and with this store expansion plan of Malabar Gold there will also be new business opportunity popping up for the signage players whose activities involve in in-store branding and graphic projects.
