Mactac launches new Rebel Cold Temp graphic print media

Designed for low temperature applications, which has feature for high performance in below freezing temperatures, Mactac Graphic & Signage Solutions has announced the launch of a new line of Rebel Cold Temp graphic print media. A specially formulated high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA), the new graphic print media line is designed for high performance in low temperature applications, customers can meet their marketing, advertising, and signage needs — even in cold weather. The Rebel Cold Temp adhesive was developed based on the properties and characteristics of the popular Mactac Rebel high-tack adhesive, which is known for its extreme bond, ultimate adhesion, and ability to stick to low-surface energy (LSE) materials. It adheres to powder coated paints, low-VOC wall paints, polyethylene, polypropylene, and difficult-to-stick surfaces.

Rebel Cold Temp is ideal for screen-printed decals, markings, point-of-purchase displays, durable decals, and indoor or outdoor signage. It is available in a 3.0 mil gloss clear polymeric vinyl (RB599CT) or a 3.2 mil matte white polymeric vinyl (RB528CT). Both products are non-top coated, durable, and flexible. They are accompanied by a 90# polyethylene liner that is coated on both sides and provides excellent lay flat properties. Rebel Cold Temp has an outdoor durability of up to 5 years, and an indoor durability up to 7 years. It is offered in 150-foot-long rolls with widths of 54- or 60-inches. Sample rolls are also available.
