Mactac expands high-performance mounting product line

With the addition of PERMACOLOR overlaminates & mounting films, Mactac has expanded its product line. The new high-performance mounting products include white foam tapes (coated on two sides), high-tack transfer adhesives, and double-coated film tapes. The products feature permanent high-shear pressure-sensitive adhesives and are designed to help those in the sign and graphics industry execute permanent assembly applications with confidence. They can be used to assemble projects to various substrates, including hard to stick to UV cured ink sets and painted wall surfaces. These products are ideal for tradeshow booths, point-of-purchase signage, ADA signage and other mounting applications.

For more than 60 years, Mactac has been a market innovator and leader in mounting adhesive technologies. And, every day, customers come to us facing material challenges in sign building applications. The newly added films include Macmount® White Foam Tape and Macbond Acrylic High-Tack Transfer Adhesive. The polyethylene foam tapes are available in 1/32” (IM1763) and 1/16” (IM1863) thicknesses and the high-tack transfer adhesive is available in 2.0-mil (IF4042) and 4.0-mil (IF4044) low-profile thicknesses, these products feature a solvent-free acrylic adhesive that is pH-neutral to avoid yellowing and offers added firmness for ease in handling, die-cutting and finishing.
