The impressive 6 x 650 ft wide graphic
On the occasion of the ‘World Environment Day’ celebration on June 5, 2009 Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit inaugurated a 6 x 650 ft wide graphic applied on the boundary wall of British High Commission (opposite Hotel Ashok), New Delhi. The theme of the graphic was the environment around us—carbon emission to greenhouse effect and later the restoration of a safe environment and so on.
The giant design that could be the ‘largest textured surface graphic’ in India was done by Contract Advertising and printed digitally by S S Digital, New Delhi. The special printable media used in the impressive massive graphic was provided by 3M. Branded as 3M Textured Surface Film, the specialised 3M film can be applied directly on texture surfaces like brick, concrete and industrial stucco.
Strong adhesive power, high conformity and dimensional stability of this cast vinyl create the wonders. The vinyl’s gray adhesive hides the wall colour and creates photographic quality images printed in any size, shape or design. And this cast vinyl has the liberty to use those ‘unused spaces’ for branding purposes.
