ITMA 2023 Milan surpasses all expectations
Recovering from the impact of the pandemic, the highly anticipated ITMA 2023 held recently in Milan included an impressive gathering of 1,709 exhibitors from all over the world. It marked an increasing number of digital printer manufacturers. ITMA 2023 attracted decision-making industry leaders and influential entrepreneurs who recognised the exhibition’s significance in shaping the textile industry’s future, said the organisers. The organisers further stated that with an overwhelming response, the exhibition was attended by diverse and enthusiastic visitors of more than 111,000 footfalls from 143 countries. The top six visitor arrival countries are Italy (29 percent), followed by Turkey, India and Germany (6 percent each), France (4 percent) and Brazil (3 percent)
The 19th edition of ITMA, the world’s largest textile and garment technology exhibition, also drew the participation of several delegations and supporting organiSation groups. Among many officials and government representatives, ITMA 2023 hosted high-level country delegations from two of the major textile producing countries, India and Uzbekistan. Digital inkjet shone and, although a small percentage of textile printing, is sure to grow further by the time ITMA 2027 comes around, with companies such as EFI Reggiani, EPSON, Mimaki, Azon and ColorJet amongst those returning. The next ITMA will be held at the Hannover Exhibition Center from September 16-22, 2027.
