Inndus Cards & Gifts expands activities with new Esko Kongsberg X

Mumbai-based Inndus Cards & Gifts has expanded its activities and offering with the adoption of a latest Esko Kongsberg X digital finishing system. With its production setup in Goregaon, the company serves for corporate customers from different sectors including financial services, hospitality, information technology and e-commerce. Inndus Cards & Gifts prints, manufactures and supplies a variety of printed and fabricated items such as paper bags, presentation folders, sun boards, POS cut-outs, boxes and stickers. As part of ambitious growth plans, they have invested in the Esko Kongsberg X cutting table to capability and productivity.

Shailesh Sharma, Founder & Managing Director of Inndus Cards & Gifts, says the main reason for buying the Esko cutting and creasing table was that they wanted to increase the variety of products they have been producing, by leveraging their expertise in the digital printing business. He adds, “Since we do a lot of work where the quantities of specially-shaped and fabricated products range from just 10 through to 300 finished units, we wanted a technology that would help us bypass the conventional die-punching process. The digitally-driven Esko sample-maker made perfect sense.” For its print and fabrication work, Inndus Cards & Gifts is mainly processing sun board, kappa board, paper, PVC, and rigid sheets, with Esko Kongsberg X running currently for about eight hours every day.
